The place that ı feel most comfortable is my hometown ,Van. Van is in east part of TURKEY.It is known as Paris of eastern part of Anatolia in onother way
I calm down and feel better as ı watch Lake Van.The lake Van is the largest one in Turkey and navigable with its depth iz some part reaching 500 mt. When ı plunge into the lakes salt water, it feels me refresh to my skin ad drinking a glass of water on a hot day.
Because of the beatauty of its surronding landscape van has often been called ''Van for this world faith for the next''. Akdamar island, van castle, van cat, Lake Van and some bazaars are several most famous specials.
The Van lake is beautiful blue colour, but unfortunately the salinity of the lake restrains agricultural develpment in the region.However,there are notable production of fruits and vegetables particularly north of the city.Ferryboats above the lake provide the railway connection between Tatvan andVan with Lake's amazing beauty.
Van is my most comfortable place mainly because of sights, sounds and the unique feels of everything mentioned in this essay.When ı'm there ı feel totally relaxed as if ı were in my own little world. Most of all, van is my favorite place to be on the earth

WE MUST THINK TWO TİMES(cause and effect)
From the past to present, people all over the world have determind to live together, which is called “get marriage” in another word, so that they depend on for living each other. Nevertheless, some couples are unable to maintain their relationship; therefore they choose divorce, which is one of the solutions to cope with problems between husband and wife. Furthermore, most people think carefully before they get marriage. However, the divorce rates trend to continually increase nowadays, thus it might be argued that divorces can be taken place easier than the past. There are three main causes of divorce: changing woman’s roles, stress in modern living and lack of communication, which are highlighted below.
The first significant cause of recent rise in the rates of divorce is that women completely change in roles. In the past, men have to earn whole money to afford the expense of family, whereas woman only do housework, hence women have no money leading to depend on husbands’ money. Because of these situations, it is too difficult for most women to separate from their husbands. Nonetheless, these situations entirely change nowadays. The equality between men and women in roles are very clear at the moment, thus women can work outside to earn money, while men share the household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, washing as well as caring for children. It can be clearly seen that women are independent from money as they can earn money by themselves to support their living cost. Accordingly, the divorce rates recently rise.
Another cause to confirm the recent increase in divorce rates is stress in modern living. Many people, who live in our worl have considerable pressures to earn money. It can be obviously seen that the stress has occurred since they are children. For instance in our country students generally want to go to special courses(in turkish Dershane) or school so that they take advantage to go to good and biguniversities. Studying in celebrated universities mostly causes having a good opportunity to find a job or earn a lot of money.I think this circumstance not only happens in Turkey but also occurs in many countries. Some people are laid off from their companies; consequently the stress occurs in their family, which leads to divorce. Some families can earn money, but inadequate for covering their expenses, therefore it is easy to think about divorce. Nevertheless, the rates of unemployment trend to continually increase as a result the divorce rates can also rise. It is no doubt that the stress in modern living may lead to recently increasing divorce rates
In conclusion family is one ofthe important parts of society so partners must think compeletly before marriage or if they married they should so on this organization not only fot them but olsa for going of ethic rules of culture no matter what problems occur iin their relation.

I think that the two most common places people choose for taking a vacation are the vocation village and the mountain. Both places offer a variety of fun activities. The vocation vilage offers activities that the mountain cannot offer and vice versa. The mountain and the vocation village are totally different. The purpose of my essay is to contrast the climate, types of activities and locations of villages and mountains.I’m going to discuss mountains first. The three aspects I’m going to discuss are climate, types of activities and location. Climate is always important in order to enjoy vacations. If a person dislikes cold weather, he or she might have a hard time in the mountains. The cold climate in the mountains is the first most big barrier to enjoying them. As I said before, many people don’t enjoy cold temperatures. The climate and the temperature of these zones are what determine the types of activities they offer. Snow boarding, mountain climbing and skiing are some of the activities people can enjoy when going to the mountains. There are many regions that have mountains where people can go and have a great vacation. Ağrı mountain is one of the most suitable for such peole. Marriage is a sacred institution which many people especially in our culture defence very harshly.In this institution people have sensetive rules that must be suited by each partner.Knowing cultural features is the most important point which shouldn't be ignored.Marry someone who even doesn't see our culture ,near or far away, is a big false of world for me.
As ı said before marriage is sacred for us.We saw and still see like that from our parents and ancestors.We cannot live without our cultural features which are as important as our vital substance water.For that reason ı don't believe that ı can live with a girl from others country. Because ı don't want to undergo to cultural shock and its big psycholocigal problems.However,it has some good parts like leraning a new language,knowing new people and places etc.When we think these features these can affect our opinion but ı can't change my culture to everythings and ı want to be myself with myown culture.

Tornadoes are one of the deadliest and most unpredictable villains mankind will ever face. There is no rhyme or reason, no rhythm to it’s madness. Tornados are one of the most terrifying natural events that occur, destroying homes and ending lives every year. April 29th, 1995, a calm, muggy, spring night I may never forget. Joey, a buddy I grew up with, just agreed to travel across state with me so we could visit a friend in Lubbock. Joey and I were admiring the beautiful blue bonnets, which traveled for miles like little blue birds flying close to the ground. The warm breeze brushed across the tips of the blue bonnets and allowed them to dance under the perfectly clear blue sky. In the distance, however, we could see darkness. A rumbling sky was quickly approaching.
We continued down the infinitely long interstate towards our destination. Thunder clouds continued to rumble in, like an ocean tide rolling closer and closer to the beach front. Within minutes the entire landscape was calm and dark. It looked like a total eclipse of the sun, and the once moving blue bonnets were now completely still and somber. The rain began to trickle down out of the sky. The sound of the rain, as it hit our car, was like that of pins dropping on a metal surface. The intensity of the rain increased as we ventured further into the eye of the storm.
As we approached an overpass, we noticed a parking lot of used cars piled underneath. By now, the rain had created a wall of water, which surrounded our car. We decided to pull over and sprint to the underpass to join the other frightened observers. What Joey and I were unaware of, what we couldn't possibly know, was that a tornado was already on the ground frantically spinning its way towards our position.
The twister had just hit the ground and was gaining power and strength as it devoured everything in its path. We found ourselves even more frightened than we were just moments ago. The whirling "finger of God" was approaching us at a tremendous rate. The sound surrounding us was outrageous, it sounded something like a steam locomotive roaring towards us, whining and whistling with an awful high pitched roar. As the rumbling cloud of darkness approached us, we started to realize it's outstanding power. This event would be one that we wouldn't soon forget. The rain had almost completely stopped, but the wind was nearly blowing us off the ground as we huddled together under the overpass. We could hear the screeching sounds of car tires as they started sliding across the rain-soaked cement pavement. Electrical explosions lit up the darkened sky as the tornado ripped over power lines, snapping them as if they were toothpicks. Screams erupted from the crowd as the tornado crossed directly over us, smashing large objects into the overpass payment. We were terrified as the twister rumbled over the roadway leaving us untouched.
Shortly thereafter it vanished from the sky, leaving only shattered pieces of falling fence posts and telephone polls. Everyone slowly unraveled from the huddle that had protected them moments earlier. The sun started poking holes in the dark rumbling sky; the wind and rain had completely ceased, leaving it morbidly calm. The sun burned away every trace of lingering darkness in the sky. It was amazing to look back and see a mile long trail of destruction surrounded by homes and fences that were left totally untouched.
